Alice...A Girl in Wonderland

Alice's Adventures In Wonderland written by Reverend Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, pen name Lewis Carroll, in 1865, is a timeless work of nonfiction. In America, little Alice, brought smiles to the faces of young and old alike trying to recover from four years of the Civil War. How wonderful, indeed, it must have been for the people of that era to join Alice in a fantasy escape?

Originally written for a ten-year-old girl named Alice Pleasance Liddell, it has been printed in over 100 editions and 125 languages. It has spread from England around the globe to places many have never heard of. It has touched the hearts of young and old alike. Filled with symbolism (ie: mathematical, French, Historical and Classical references), most readers would never realize or even understand them, unless specifically searching the text.

Creating the digital collage sheets of Alice has been a fun adventure for me. Seeing the different ways she was portrayed through the years has brought a new understanding of how classic art can evolve.

Crafters of all ages love to translate Alice into their specific art form. As a classic, her appeal is as broad today as it was in years gone by. From jewelry to cards to tee-shirts, Alice will live on in the hearts of generations to come.

To help with this I've created numerous Alice In Wonderland collage sheets, from Vintage images, to Bits & Pieces, Gift/Hang Tags and even Silhouettes. An assortment that allows crafters the opportunity to create myriad items to delight and enchant their customers.

Perhaps a hundred years from now, a little girl named Alice will hold in her hand a special necklace or card that belonged to her grandmother, created with love by a wonderful crafter who used one of my collage sheets.

Well, isn't Alice's Adventures in Wonderland supposed to be a dream? Now you know mine.

To all who use Alice in your creations, I hope you have fun and create a lasting legacy. With your help, Alice will live on for future generations who also love to dream.

Alice In Wonderland Collage Sheets are available on my Website: Cloud 9 Kreations (which offers INSTANT DOWNLOADS, a freebie and more); my Etsy shop and my Artfire Studio (not all sheets available here). See the links below.

Western Digital Collage Sheets Top The List

Sales of Western Digital Collage Sheets outnumber most of the others sold, and making them fits right in with my love of the old west. Having been a professional genealogist for sixteen years (I retired from doing it actively a few years ago) my mind and thoughts naturally go back in time. That period of US history has has everything drama, romance, excitement and much more. It's easy to see why people would love it.

Using the Western Digital Collage Sheets is one way to remember people and events from the old west. Jewelry and other crafts are the perfect venue to show off the past. One of my latest, Vintage Rodeo Cowgirls (above) does just that.

These women were fantastic! Not only were they courageous, but they were independent and free-spririted, long before it was considered popular. A few rode the rodeo circuit before Women's Sufferage in 1920. Even after that a woman was supposed to be a wife and mother and keep the home fires burning, not ride bulls or bucking broncos.

We've always had free-thinking women down through history, but women like Fox Hastings, Mabel Stickland, Helen Bonham & Prairie Rose were a few of the most daring.

To recognize all cowgirls, I created the the Cowgirl Silhouette Digital Collage Sheet. It doesn't single out one person, but allows those who use it to recognize all cowgirls.

I offer alot of other Western Digital Collage Sheets besides the ones mentioned, including: 4 sheets of Vintage Cowgirls, 3 sheets of Cowgirl Pinups, Cowboys, Texas Rangers, Wild West Outlaws and more. Some of these are even in Inchies or other sizes. There's alot to choose from on the website,in my Etsy Store, Artfire Studio and at my Fuzzy Blue Slippers Shop. So I hope you'll stop by and check all the Western Digital Collage Sheets available.

I'd love to hear your comments. Thanks, and until next time, as Roy Rogers used to say, "Happy Trails to you."

About Cloud 9 Kreations

Cloud 9 Kreations was created last year. After seeing several digital collage sheets, I decided I wanted to give making them a try. I first listed them on Etsy and then decided to get a website. One sheet led to another and another and now there are over 300 sheets available on the website.

I also sell on Etsy, Artfire and Fuzzy Blue Slippers. See the links to these sites below. None of these other sites offer as many digital collage sheets as does the website. Another advantage the website has over the others is that it offers INSTANT DOWNLOADS once payment is received. Since I'm not shackled to the computer (my hubby would disagree LOL) it's great while I'm sleeping (perfect if you're from another country), when I'm away from home, fixing dinner, visiting with friends or just kicking back watching tv (something I usually do in the evening).

All my collage sheets aka printables are done in jpg format, 300 dpi for the best quality. If you have any ideas for sheets you'd like to see, drop me an email rebelsher1@aol.com

Below you'll find some of the most popular sheets for the week. I'll try and keep these updated. I hope to make this blog interesting and informative. Something you'll come back to often. If you have any questions, just ask.

I have alot of western collage sheets because I love the old west. I think it was a fascinating and romantic period. Because of this, I've written a partial western romance and created two western ho train modules. I love to travel California's Gold Chain, Hwy 49, and made the trek a couple of years ago with my best friend. I even jumped a frog in Calavaras County at the Celebrated Jumping Frog Contest made popular by Mark Twain in 1867. My frog was a dud and barely jumped, but it was fun anyway.

Creating new and unique collage sheets intrigues me the most. I love playing around in the program I use, finding and learning new things. I can spend hours doing one small task, but it's the end result that makes it worthwhile.

I hope you'll check back with me to see my latest blog and newest creations. I look forward to meeting new friends and sharing my world with you. Until next time...have fun!
